Sandra Maihos-Hoch
Executive Vice President
Sandra Maihos-Hoch joined Tom Hoch in 1995 as a receptionist. In that role, she discovered her love for numbers and advanced her career by handling the firm’s accounting, payroll and accounts receivable departments.
As the Executive Vice President, Maihos-Hoch manages the company’s finances and directs daily operations and expenses. She also offers input on the design team and assisted in selecting the materials and finishes for The Ridge at Back Brook – voted No. 3 Best Private Clubhouse/Locker Room in Golf World’s 2010 “Reader’s Choice Awards.” She has a degree in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Steven Gellenbeck
General Manager
With 35-plus years in the construction industry – roofing, carpentry, design and sales -- Steven Gellenbeck has experience in all aspects of the business.
As General Manager, a position he’s served since 2005, Gellenbeck helps streamline assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets accommodated. His keen understanding of people helps him reach optimal client satisfaction and services, as well as assists in maintaining internal communication -- resulting in increased efficiencies and faster project turnaround.
Martin Reynolds
Director of Design
An experienced interior designer who has worked on projects for Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica and Guess, Martin Reynolds joined Tom Hoch in 2000.
Known for his award-winning interiors, Reynolds’ vast experience in custom interior designs, millwork and architectural interior design/detailing enable him to deal with the many challenges faced during renovations. During his tenure at Tom Hoch, he’s worked on distinguished projects including the remodel at TPC Valencia Country Club. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington, with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture.
Kirk Smith
Senior Designer and Detailer
Working with the company since it was directed by Tom Hoch, Sr., Smith has completed more than 50 projects for clients across the U.S. His background as a cabinet maker enables him to produce designs for many striking, custom Tom Hoch pieces. He also serves as the C&C Programmer.
Smith’s most recent custom creation was a conference table made from sawmill-cut walnut, inlaid with pure turquoise. Its beauty was enhanced by maintaining live edges, sapwood and natural defects and voids in the wood.
Kendra Ramsey
Senior Designer and Project Manager
Offering ingenuity and attention to detail, Kendra Ramsey works diligently to translate clients’ creative input into successful designs.
Ramsey joined Tom Hoch in 2006 and continues to be an asset on the design team. From projects with luxurious brands – like The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott -- to local venues, she drafts custom millwork, retail fixtures and layouts. As a project manager she provides field dimensions, delivery and installation costs and never wavers from helping clients achieve their goal. An alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, she holds a degree in interior design with a minor in art history.
Margarita Wilkes
Office Manager
Joining Tom Hoch in 2000, Margarita Wilkes’ strong background in administration makes her an integral player to daily operations.
Currently leading the IT support for the firm, Wilkes heads the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll departments. Prior to joining Tom Hoch, she was an administrative assistant.
Wayne Higdon
Manager, Custom Cabinetry
A visionary, Wayne Higdon has perfected the art of cabinetry, providing quality finished products.
With a strong background as a cabinet maker, Higdon joined Tom Hoch in 1998. He currently supervises Tom Hoch’s team of 15-20 artisans in the firm’s 30,000-square foot, onsite studio. Applying talent and expertise, Higdon has worked on esteemed projects for the company like The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, which was named Golf Inc.’s “Clubhouse of the Year” in 2010.
Higdon graduated from Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center – where he studied HVAC.
