Renaissance, built with an ever critical eye toward the comfort of its members, features three levels of premium accommodations and amenities, and is sited overlooking a Signature Jack Nicklaus course. The main level features a Grille Room and lounge, spacious ballroom with indoor seating for up to 250 guests, a private dining/boardroom, living room, billiards room and a three-season veranda spanning the entire length of the clubhouse overlooking the 18th green on the main level.
The lower level includes the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, each with separate lounges and steam rooms, a fitness facility, massage rooms, two state-of-the-art golf simulators for indoor practice and lessons, administrative offices and a business center for Renaissance members. The upper level will feature eight uniquely designed club rooms for Renaissance members and their guests.
Honoring the traditions and spirit of the game, Renaissance Golf Club draws inspiration from the classic elements of early 20th century American shingle-style architecture. Tom Hoch was brought in to develop the budding Renaissance atmosphere, providing multiple custom furnishings and materials as well as interior design for the men’s and women’s locker rooms.
These unique and heirloom-quality furnishings, often created from little more than a sketch or photograph, took shape beneath the hands of several master craftsmen on site at Tom Hoch. The design of each item reflected on the Renaissance brand, utilizing unique and vibrant finishes to bring out the natural luster of the underlying materials.
In the locker rooms, Tom Hoch employed an interior design theme of casual elegance and décor, tying the “under roof” spaces to the clubhouse’s architectural motif and further emphasizing the traditional aspects of the game.
With installation of these pieces near completion at Renaissance Golf Club, Tom Hoch continues to provide support and assistance as the club finalizes its operations and appearance before opening its doors to an excited new membership.
